Small Change Adds Up
Recently my mother has taken to the hobby of going to casinos. While this is not a suitable hobby for many, it has given her an outlet and something to do a few days out of the month. Yet, this is not about my Mother’s love of loud machines and the bright flashing lights at casinos. This covers what I have learned by accompanying her on these excursions.
First, never go to a casino if you are there because you NEED money. I think it is best to hold on to what you have then enter the casino with the hope of turning two hundred dollars into the five hundred you actually need for rent. With that said, let us look at what I have discovered from my few short months on the gambling scene.
Play with smaller bills and when you win keep it. Do not try to keep going. For example, I put five dollars into a penny slot. I may turn five dollars into twenty dollars, ten dollars or seven. What ever the win is, I keep it! Now this does not mean you will always win something on your five dollars every spin might be a miss. However, I have found in my experience that if a machine has not paid out after three or four spins move on.
Once you win, remove the ticket and play another dollar or five dollars. Every time you win, take that ticket out and repeat the process until you have spent all the money you brought for playing.
The biggest thing to remember is that you are going to get more small wins than big ones. That is just how it goes.
So keep your small wins, instead of trying to turn them into a million dollars. If you do this, you will usually leave with money in your pocket. Those small wins add up too. I can play twenty dollars and if it is a good day, I will bring home at least 55 dollars.
Now there are the times when I have hit a hundred dollars or more on the third spin in, but this does not occur often.
